In some cases, the seller needs to add tax to the product price and inform the buyer about it. To do this, in the Admin Panel, click "Settings" and go to the "Taxes" page.
Here, you can add and edit taxes. In the "Tax Classes" column, you can create or edit the name of the tax. In the "Tax Rates" column, you can assign one or more rates to the tax (for example, if you conduct trade in different regions with different rates or if you have products with "preferential rates"). Additionally, you can link a specific rate to a specific region using the "Tax Zones" column (a list of regions that can be added and edited as needed).
Once the tax has been created, and its rate and region have been determined, you can add the tax to a product.
To display the tax during checkout for the customer, go to the Admin Panel, navigate to "My Store" and enable the "Calculate tax in checkout" function. Additionally, if desired, you can enable "Display prices with tax".
Now, in the product card, you can enable taxation for that product, using the addition of the "Tax Class " filter. Settings for each product can be found in the "Products" - "Catalog" section.
