REPOST delivery module

What The Integration Does

The Repost module adds international delivery through the Repost Public API.

Where

What happens

Checkout storefront

The customer sees live carrier rates, such as NPU, DHL, UPS, and selects a Repost delivery method.

Solomono admin panel

The manager opens the order and sends it to Repost using the Send to Repost form.

Repost account

The created shipment appears in Repost; labels, statuses, and further logistics are handled in Repost.

The Solomono order stores:

  • the carrier, price, currency, and packaging template selected at checkout;

  • after a successful Send to Repost action, the Repost shipment identifiers and tracking number, if the API returns tracking immediately.

Important. The main way to create a shipment from Solomono is the Send to Repost button. Separate actions such as Create / Order synchronization inside Repost belong to the Repost account itself; do not use them to duplicate a shipment that was already created from Solomono.

Before You Start

  • Administrator access to the Solomono store.

  • A Repost account and an API key from the Repost account.

  • Sender address: country, city, postcode, and street.

  • Store contact details, such as owner phone or email. These are used in the sender form.

  • Product weight in product cards. Without weight, rates may be calculated by the box template and may be less accurate.

  • If needed, default city and Nova Poshta branch in Repost: My addresses and branches.

Warning. The API key is secret. Do not include it in public screenshots, emails, or chats.

1. Register Or Log In To Repost

  1. Open https://repost.global/.

  2. Create an account or log in to an existing account.

  3. After login, open Settings → API.

  4. Copy the API key. If there is no key yet, create it in this section.

  5. Make sure the key is enabled and has not expired.

2. Enable The Module In Solo Modules

  1. Log in to the Solomono admin panel.

  2. Open Modules → Solo modules.

  3. Find Repost delivery service.

  4. Make sure the switch in this row is enabled.

  5. At this step you only activate the module. Do not enter the API key here.

3. Enter API Key And Host In Integrations

  1. In the admin panel, open Integrations, then the Delivery service / Repost subsection.

  2. Enable Repost by setting Enable Repost to true.

  3. Paste the API key from the Repost account.

  4. In the API host / Public Host field, enter: https://repost.global

  5. If needed, enable customer email notification. After successful shipment creation, the customer will receive an email.

Result. The module is connected to the Repost Public API. Without this step, checkout rates and the Send to Repost form will not work.

4. Enable The Repost Shipping Module

  1. In the admin panel, open Modules → Shipping.

  2. Find rePost international delivery.

  3. If the module is not installed, install it. If it is already installed, open editing.

  4. Enable the module by setting Status = True.

  5. Fill in the sender address: country, city, postcode, and street.

  6. If needed, configure zone, international only, default box template, quote cache TTL, sort order, and custom name.

  7. The sender phone is not configured in this shipping module. It is taken from the store contacts, such as owner phone or email.

5. Check Products And Customer Address

  1. In product cards, make sure product weight is filled in.

  2. At checkout, the delivery address must include the country.

  3. If international only is enabled, the delivery country must differ from the sender country.

  4. The customer goes to checkout and selects an available Repost delivery method, for example NPU.

Figure 4. Checkout: customer address and Repost rates

Warning. On a test store, Repost rates may not appear if the cart does not meet the minimum amount, product weight or box template does not fit, the address does not match international only or delivery zone rules, or the API key is incorrect or disabled.

6. Send The Order To Repost From Solomono

  1. After the order is placed, open Orders in the Solomono admin panel.

  2. In the Delivery column, check that rePost international delivery and the selected service, for example NPU, are shown.

  3. Open the order card.

  4. Click Send to Repost, then check the recipient, sender, box, products, HS codes, declaration, and carrier.

  5. If needed, get quotes and select the current rate, then create the shipment.

  6. After success, Solomono stores the shipment identifiers and tracking, if the API has already returned tracking.

  7. If email notification is enabled, the customer receives an email.

Important. If Repost shows a hint about the city and Nova Poshta branch, this is an account settings warning and not always a shipment creation error. Check My addresses and branches in Repost and verify whether the shipment exists in the Shipments section.

7. Check The Shipment In Repost

  1. In the Repost account, open Shipments.

  2. Find the newly created shipment. If it was already created through Solomono, separate order synchronization is not required.

  3. Check the recipient, carrier or rate, weight, and dimensions.

  4. Labels and further actions, including buttons such as Create if needed, are handled inside the Repost account. Solomono does not generate them.

  5. Do not create a second shipment from scratch in Repost for the same order if it was already created through Send to Repost. This will create duplicates.

8. Tracking In Solomono

  1. If the API returns tracking immediately in the shipment creation response, it is saved in the Solomono order.

  2. If tracking appears in Repost later, there is currently no automatic later re-synchronization back to Solomono.

  3. If needed, copy the tracking number from the Repost account manually.

Common Issues

Issue

What to check

Repost is not visible at checkout

Check Solo modules → Repost delivery service, Integrations → Enable Repost, and Modules → Shipping → rePost international delivery.

Rates are not calculated

Check the API key and Public Host, product weight or box template, country in the address, international only, and delivery zone.

Send to Repost form has empty data

The order must have address, phone, email, and country; ship-from must be filled in the shipping module; store phone or email must be filled in store contacts.

The Rates column is empty in Repost

The Send to Repost form must have a selected carrier, such as npu, which was selected at checkout.

Nova Poshta branch message

In the Repost account, check My addresses and branches, default city, and default branch.

Shipment creation is duplicated

Do not open two tabs with Send to Repost at the same time. When sending again, confirm resend in the UI.

Tracking exists in Repost but not in Solomono

Tracking may have appeared after shipment creation. Later automatic tracking re-sync is currently not available.

Diagnostics are needed

For a technical specialist: set REPOST_DEBUG=true in hidden configuration.
