Picture sizes

A banner is a graphic image with or without text. It gives an idea to site visitors about a company or product, attracts their attention, and invites them to make a purchase.

The Solomono team has developed functionality so that such a banner independently adjusts to different sizes of site blocks and the content is displayed correctly.

Also, our functionality provides the ability to independently set the height, width, position of the banner on the main page. To do this, in the administration panel in the “Design” -> “Template settings” -> “Blocks on the main page” section, you can set the necessary parameters:

For example: place the banner on the entire width of the page or content:

Naturally, for the banner to be displayed correctly on your site, you need to select images to fit the width of your site or content, and you can specify the height of the image container in the administration panel, which will ultimately allow you to display your advertising in a higher quality form.

For example, for a standard site with the set parameters “by content width”:

The minimum width of the container, and accordingly the image, is 1440 pixels, the height is 380 pixels, that is, even if you have selected images of a larger size, you can independently set the required height dimensions in the administration panel:

It should be noted that the image you add will be adjusted to the set width and will maintain the original proportions. Therefore, images that are proportional to the dimensions of the container will be displayed in full, filling the entire container, and the greater the proportionality x2, x3....., the higher the image quality on modern devices.

Modern specifications on the Solomono platform make it possible to make the images used on site pages flexible and correctly displayed on the screens of various user devices.

You also need to know that if your banner contains text, embedded images, which can affect the quality of the image in the mobile version, then for such options the Solomono team has added the ability to add additional banners for the mobile version, which you can add yourself through the administration panel in section “Content” -> “Pages” -> “Slider”:

To set up a long banner on the main page:

You just need to add an image in the administration panel in the “Content” -> Blocks -> “Long banner” section, and for the high-quality display of your banner, you need to choose an image that will match the width of your site content, at least 1440 pixels wide: (better, larger, for high-quality display on the screen, for example, in the range of 3000–4000 pixels.)

To customize the banner in the left column:

You need to add an image in the administration panel in the “Content” -> Blocks -> “Banner on the left” section, and for the high-quality display of your banner, you need to select an image at least 345 pixels wide: (better, larger, for better display on the screen). The height of the image is not so important, as it is adjusted proportionally to the width. The main thing is to ensure that the image is wide enough.

To set up a banner on the left (facebook):

You need in the administration panel in the section “Content” -> Blocks” -> “Banner on the left (facebook)”, -> clicking the “source” button -> add links to your facebook account, -> and set the name:

After adding links to the “Banner on the left (facebook)” block, for the correct display of information, you need to go to the “Settings” -> “My store” -> click “Compress now” -> “ok”:

To add a logo:

you need to go to the section “Settings” -> “My store” -> section: Images -> click “Upload” -> “Select file” -> “ok”:

To adjust the size of your logo, go to the “Design” -> “Header Blocks” section -> where in the Logo line -> specify the height you need:
As for the width of the logo container, it will not exceed 3*height. If you want to place a logo with large dimensions, you will need the help of specialists to edit the code.
In addition, in the My store / Images section, the logo image cropping function is available, which allows you to adjust the proportions of the image inside the container. For example: the container is h50xw150px, and the image is 30x150 or 50x50 (more elongated or square).
